I found a baby bird today and I attempted to feed him via a sryinge and mushy worms. He ate ok, but I don’t know how many more I’ll be able to find and he needs to eat every 2 hours. Does anyone have a quick formula recipe? There’s no chance of me getting to the store tonight so any help I could get would be awesome. Please help me.
I found a baby bird who fell from his nest (way to high for me to put him back in) and I followed a recipe I found on Internet on how to feed him (boiled meet, grains, baby formula = blended) and I use a eye drop bottle to put it in his beak (it works great). Obviously after 3 days he’s trying to get out the big box I put him in. I don’t know how he will do out on his own (food wise). Do you think the SPCA will take him? (I call but they don’t answer) Thanks!
Ok, my family flock has grown quite big as we are planning on 2 new additions. Zuess is a redwing macaw and Kaida is a triton cockatoo. both will be joining our family next week. Peachy and Cheeky will be the older sisters and they are both cockatiels. They are all on a zupreme pellet diet with a small amount of mixed seed. I know it is going to get very expensive keeping them feed with their fresh vegetables and fruits, etc. So, I’m hoping I can once every 2 weeks or at the beginning of each month precook a batch of food and freeze it for the month. I would like to put together a recipe that ALL of my birds can share. does anyone have a good recipe?
oops I meant zuess is a greenwing macaw lol. But, he is soooo red!! lol

the bird can’t fly, but i am willing to try to feed it, until it is strong enough to make it on it’s own. a recipe, and feeding technique would be very helpful.
I have three baby blue birds the nesting box bleu over. I put them back for 1 1/2 hours. The mother did not come back. So I am taking care of them know. I have been feeding them bloodworms I do not know if that is good. I need a recipe for them. I also do not know what to build a nest out of. If you could help me that would be grate.

I love my wild bird, enjoy sitting and looking at them for hours at the feeds. I want to make some yummy treats for them but everything I find calls for suet, does anyone have a recipe for wild birds that does not call for suet?
