What do I do with bird egg I found?

So I went outside today and I saw two little blue brown-speckled eggs cracked open on the grass. One was just a shell the other had yolk pouring out. Then I found one that seems in tact. I put some grass in a box and put the egg in. The I put that under a lamp. What do I do now? I did some research saying it could be dead already and that I have to keep turning the egg so the embryo doesn’t stick to the egg. I saw a nest it must have fallen out of but it’s too high up for me to reach and theres wasps in there so I’m not going near it.

Anyone know how to care for bird eggs? What do I do if it hatches?

How old is the featherless, baby bird we found abandoned?

The baby bird was found by my two little ones. We gently scooped it up and put it in a shoe box with some towels since it has no feathers to keep it warm. I did some research and have been feeding “it” chopped up egg yolk (hard) and a few bugs for protein and placing it (via toothpick) in the back of it’s throat. Evidently, according to what I have read, the baby birds need to eat every 20-30 minutes.
The baby has nearly NO feathers and it’s wings look skeletal. Besides what we are doing, we are clueless as to the age. No sign of a nest or other birds. The kids found it next to the bottom of our large trash can on the side of the house. It was shivering….it has eaten a bit; however, it takes it in, lies there with it’s eyes closed the whole time. It’s tried to open it’s eyes a couple times.
Please help us if you have any knowledge whatsoever. The origin is unknown, buy basing it on the birds around I would predict it is a robin or similiar.

How do you set up a cockatiel nest box?

How do you give protein to a baby hummingbird?

My daughter and I found a hummingbird on the groud. Apparently after some research we have determined it is about 15 weeks old. We are feeding it bird-nectar, but we also saw that it needs protein. Any ideas?

Breeding Parakeets?

I have two lovely parakeets. They have been with me now a good 6 months. They were about 6 months old when I bought them. They are a VERY bonded male and female. I keep them in a large cage with as much food and water they could ever want. They have a fuzzy bed big enough for the both to get in as well as a nest box with nesting materials. If they decided to breed when do you think they would? Ive done some research and would be very responsible in dealing with the offspring. Many family members love the birds, so I already have many homes for the future babies. Any tips or suggestions would be great. I do cover the birds at night…and I would also supplement the feed when they do reproduce.
Don’t worry…if they don’t have babies I will keep them as pets. I would never ever get rid of them

What size cage should I get for my birds?

I have two Bourke’s parakeets and I want them to lay eggs. I put in a nest box and I am waiting for them to use it. I know that you have to wait and be patient, but while I’m waiting, I think I should get another cage so that they will have their own cage and I will leave the old cage for the canaries (they get along well) I know a lot about birds, just through research (Maybe I’m a bird expert…in some ways – not breeding though) So I want to know how big a cage I should get for about 5-6 birds. I also want them to have enough room to fly when they want to, so what are your suggestions?
I THINK a 5x3x2 cage is good?
