Hey yahoo. I am going to be a first time bird owner, and I was confused on something. Do you have to tame every budgie you get.(even if it was hand raised???) I have been doing research and all and It seems like everybody says ” well you have to tame it by……” or books will have headers Taming your bird, Taming your parakeet. And I am getting the impression that no matter what you have to tame the bird. But like I said I am still confused on that little tidbit of it. And is it true that if you get a female she will regardless of having a male or not she will lay eggs? And that if you have a female then you should have a nest box? Because if that’s the case then I will go with a male. I am continuing to do as much research as possible on the budgie before I actually get it. So I thank you for your time, and I would appreciate your answers. And please do not post a simple one word answer(ex yes, no, yes) I would appreciate it if you guys answer with at least a simple sentence. Thanks again for your time and answers.
