Can white rice kill backyard birds if so i need asap answer.?
I have a large front & backyard that sits on a corner. I have birds
that come around and feed. Some are your usual type birds,
others are some wildlife type. My question is that the last couple
of mornings i have been finding small piles of white rice around
the area of my fence line. I know its for the birds i feed. I’m
wondering if the rice can be treated with some kind of poison
chemical. I heard there was some kind of poison that looks
loke rice but i never haerd it of it before til now. I know my
nieghbor or two are up to this, and if they are i want to know is
there any legal action that can be done to stop them. We have
a on going all out war with these people and we don’t even
talk to them. I really could use some help on this matter. I’m
afraid i might find some dead birds in the yard and i couldn’t
handle that. I’m to much of a wildlife person as well as animals.

Is it true?
I rencently heard this from someone that if you feed a bird rice it will blow up and die right then and there. I really dont know if this is true or not but all I want to know is, is this true?
Will 2 male java rice birds build a nest if there is no female present?
I have what I thought was a pair, but they both sing. They have built a big nest inside a nest box.

Is it bad to feed birds cooked rice?
My grandama thinks its okay to feed birds cooked rice. She said that back in her days, she did it all the time. But I swear my biology teacher told me it’s bad for them. Like their stomach expands or something. But I’m not sure…so if you know the answer, I would gladly appreciate if you gave me the answer. Thanks!
