(Refering To “My Cockatiel Is Sick”)?

I just got a pair of cocaktiel today. When i was at the shop, the female was healthy and not sick. But when i came back, she is fluffee up and shaking. I put her in a bigger cage with the male, but i dont want the male to get sick so thts why i temoprarily changed the cage. I wanted to know if she is going to lay an egg. Before taking the bird out, the breeder checked the nest box.there were 5 eggs. He doesnt know when she layed the eggs. I wanted to know if her appearance looks as if she is going to lay an egg. PLZ help. Iz she going to lay an or iz she just sick?

Sick love bird, that died? any ideas, i dont want my other ones getting sick. (Symptoms listed below)?

she lost alot of feathers, down feathers. Over the weekend my housemate spotted her on the ground (they live in an aviary) sitting in the the rain. all the birds often spend time on the ground, stripping the grass for nesting material and picking up seed so i didn’t give it a second thought.

someone suggested she was egg bound, there is two nesting boxes in the aviary, one already has a bird and her 4eggs in it, the other box seems to be abandoned, as every time i add nesting material too it they pull it out and put it in the other one (so i gave up)

they were treated for worms about 2mths ago.

there was four love birds (3female, one male) and 2 cockatiels (both male) that live in the aviary, its about 3×1.5×2.5m. fairly big, and they have lived in it together since january, before that they all lived in cages (cockatiels in one, two love birds in two separate cages)

any ideas? i just dont want my other birds getting sick.
i’ve never seen them fight, ever, not even over the eggs or boxes

and in the last 24hrs she died, i check them in the mornings and i found her at the bottom of the cage this morning.

Sick jackdaw fledgeling, URGENT!?

Seven days ago we found in our garden two jackdaw fledgelings.
I fed them with chicken liver and yeast, one getting bigger, one staying smaller.
This morning the smaller chick is unable to keep its neck straight, unable to stand, it is twitching, but doesn’t seem to be in pain.
In my country, there is only one vet specialised for birds, but she ditched me fast by saying “Bird plague”, without me giving the full list of symptoms.
I need to hear other people’s experiences, and fast. I can’t feed the sick chick and it could die soon of starvation and dehydratation.

Thank you all.
It died a while ago.

If you think you could have helped, please post answers.
Someone else should have the benefit of an immediate answer.
Also, I still have the other chick, and in case it gets sick I might use some help.

Thank you everybody.
