My sister found a baby bird outside. It’s almost grown, but it needs a few more weeks and we can’t find it’s nest. We decided to take care of it until it grows up, but what do we need to do for it to keep it comfortable, how do we feed it, and what do we feed it?
My sister and I found a baby bird on the ground in the middle of the yard. There were only very high branches above us. We give the baby bird a bug and a grub and also some water out of a syringe. Our neighbor works with animals and she told us once before that if you touch a bird its mother WILL come back for it. We put the bird in a shoe box with some leaves and grass then we put the baby bird in some shrubs to wait for its mother but if the mother does not come back we would not know the correct food to feed it. How can we kept this baby bird alive?
My little brother and sister were playing outside when they found a nest with three little birds inside, so they deiced they would keep them! now i have three newborn birds in a shoe box! What do they eat? How do i feed them? How often do i feed them? Help. i really don’t want them to die!

Me and my friend were swimming, when her sister came back and said they found a baby bird, it was on the ground and the nest was messed up, she said she already held it, so no use trying to put it in the tree, i took it home and put it in a shoe box with some cotten balls, and kept it warm with a heating pad on medium, the thing is i cant get it to eat, how can i make the bird eat?
It doesnt have feathers, Only lil fluff, it makes tiny faint sounds, cant stand, plz help(:
I have handled baby birds befor, and have been sucssesful, but this one is a dove, and wont eat, what can i feed it, and how can i feed it, thats all im asking, Some tips would be nice, im 13, so cant call anyone lol. my parents seem to be okay with me helping it, so why dont yew help me now!?!? lol thnx
I have been feeding it and its doing fine, No its not dead, its still alive and makes lil chirping sounds and kinda opens it wings when i put my hands by it, My friend named it julian(:
The reason why i’m asking is because, my sister had 4 parakeets, but one died this morning. The parakeet that died, she had since fall of 2005 and he seemed to have a bigger appetite than the other birds. Lately he seemed a little sluglish, like he was too full. We would take the food out and only feed them 3 times a day. Is it possible that he died from eating too much?
we dont know what type of bird it is, just that it was born with very little feathers, eyes closed and it can barley move about. Does anyone have any helpful inforamtion?
While my little sister was outside with her friend, she saw our cat carrying a baby bird in it’s mouth. She ran over to our cat, and made her let go. We put her in a box, with a heating lamp, and some bird food, we had from one of our previous birds. It doesn’t seemed to be damaged it can run, and has all it’s feathers, and it’s eyes are open. But we didn’t find any. We can’t bring it to a wildlife rehab center, or whatever; because we live in a super small city, and I don’t think there are any near. We also, can’t put it back into it’s nest, we don’t know where it is, our cat could’ve had it in her mouth for a long time. Before we start looking for where it could be, is there anything we could do, to try to keep it alive as long as possible?
