Feeding a baby cockatiel

I have 2 adult cockatiels, one male and one female. They mated and hatched 3 eggs. The mother will continue to sit on all her eggs, and the male will sit on his bunch of eggs, but every time one hatched, the mother pushed the baby out of the nest and won’t care for it no matter what I do. The first one and the third one died, so I’m caring for the second one myself. I have a nest in a box, a heat lamp and I’m feeding it every 1-2 hours with baby bird formula in a tiny dropper. It’s been doing just fine for about 4 days, it’s growing, getting stronger and eating the formula easier. My main concern about it is every time I feed it, it swallows a large amount of air and sits in it’s crop for a little while and makes a large bubble in the crop. It says on the formula container to feed the baby till it’s crop is filled with formula, but it gets half filled with air and half with formula. When it gets filled with air I’m afraid to feed it any more because I don’t know how much it’s little crop can hold. Is this air swallowing thing normal? Should I feed it more when it does that or keep doing what I’m doing? What should I do???

Help – What to do with a broken Swallows Nest and Baby Birds?

Urgent Help needed. A nest with baby swallows has broken at the front of my house. The babies have feathers – I think they are fleglings. The parents are very distressed and were flying around for a while but I can’t see them now. I put the babies in a box on a windowsill as close to the place where the nest is as possible but will the parent recognise them. Should I put the babies on the ground outside. I’ve gone around all the websites I can and the information is mostly about baby birds falling out of nests. This nest has broken so what should I do????

i want the birds to stop nesting on top of my fire alarms and dryer vents, however it must look good?

I do maintenance at an apartment complex and this has become a project, I tried building boxes uses finish trim pieces and 2 x 4′s, but these mud swallows are so persistent and protected so it has to be humane and like I said most importanly still look good.

attracting purple martin and violet-green swallows?

i’d like to hear from anyone in Washington Oregon area who is trying to attract these birds to reduce the insects for their horses. Particularly flies and mosquitoes. I saw 8 and 10 room swallow houses for about $100.00.
but the martin houses were $30.00 for only one nest box.
Any cheaper ways??
