Are my lovebirds getting ready for eggs?

My lovebirds have started to spend alot of time in their nest boxes, with the male mostly peeking his head out or standing on the perch just outisde. i havent seen them prepare a nest, and there is nothing in the box, so i wouldnt think they are. It has started getting hot here (im in qatar, mideast) so maybe they just want shade? i usually leave them outside to communicate with other bird types, they love it. but now they are just staying inside the box. even when i take them in at sunset, they still stay in the box. whats happening?
ive actually just seen them jump out and start chirping, i know its at the other birds, but now theyve went back in.

why are my birds afraid of me?

i have two parakeets, and every time i want to talk or feed them they run to the farthest of the cage away fromme…how do i show them i dont want to hurt them?

bird problems?

I have a budgie and a princess of wales parrot but I can’t take care of them any more. All I can do is feed them and clean their cage. I can’t spend time with them cause I’m gone most of the day. (school, duh). Another problem is that I can’t bring them into the house and possums and cats bang on the cage at night. Obviously, I have to give them to someone else, but who? Basically, the question is: What do I do with pet birds when I can’t take care of them any more? I really need good answers. Many thanks for answering!
my location: Westminster, California.

I’m planning to buy two parakeets (budgies) some time….?

So I’m planning to buy two parakeets some time. I’m also planning on building an aviary for them. I know what materials I need, except for the size of the wire mesh. Is 1/2″ safe? Or do I have to buy 1/4″? I’d also like to know a little about new parakeets.
1. I’d like to know how long I should wait to let them fly around?
2. How long until I can hold them?
3. Should I take them to the vet for a check up soon after I buy them?
4. How can I train them to hop onto my finger inside the cage to take them out?
5. Should I get a cuttlefish bone or a mineral block?
6. If I get a male and a female is it safe to assume I’ll need a nesting box?
7. Should I repeat their names to them often?
8. Should I keep my cats in a separate room even when the birds are in their cage?

is something wrong with my parakeets?

they’re making some noise now but they don’t move a whole lot or play with the toys i gave them. i put in a nesting box but they don’t go in it. this is my first time with parakeets but my family has been raising canaries and some miniature parrots since i was 5, so i’m not a beginner with birds. i don’t buy birds at pet stores so these were from a breeder. she said they’d had babies before and that the female would probably lay eggs soon. they’re better than they were a few days ago but i’m still wondering, am i doing something wrong?

when is it the right time to take parakeets out of thier nesting box?

Is it ok to pick a baby parakeet up when its still in the nesting box?Like when its 3 weeks old?i want to pick them up to tame them so can i pick up a baby when its 3 weeks old without the mother getting mad?If i do will she smell my scent and not feed it like wild birds do?

My parakeet keeps biting me!?

I have a parakeet, I have had him for about 5 months now. He was always the sweetest bird not once did he ever bite me, he hadn’t even tried to bite. But now in this past week he started biting. He will go on my finger eaisly, but then he will start biting my hand. I don’t know if it might be that he just want food, because most of the time I give him millet when he gets on my finger. But I can’t feed him food everytime he goes on my finger. I really would love to know how to get him to stop biting, because he used to be such a good bird and I don’t want him to bite anymore. Please Help!
