Can we move this new bird’s nest without hurting the bird?

We are having electrical problems in our home and less than a 3 days ago it was just and old breaker box. Now a bird has made a nest on top of it and the electrician is due tomorrow! We got close to it and the bird doesn’t move and I fear she’s laying eggs or already has. How and where could we move the nest if the breaker box needs replacing (which it probably does)? There are lots of cats in the neighborhood and we don’t have trees in our yard.
It’s impossible to leave the bird’s nest there. Our electrical problem is a major fire hazard and if it’s not in the breaker box, we’ll leave the nest alone, but diagnostics so far say it IS the breaker box so either the nest gets destroyed or we try to move it responsibly.

is the bird a wild bird?

we feed the birds in our back yard every day. there are blue jays, cardinals, humming birds, etc. but there is this bird that has grayish-brown body with a big red mark on top of his head. is that a wild bird or somebody’s pet? is there any wild birds that have a red mark on their head? i live on long island(just to let you know about the location)

Is it normal for my male cockatiel to want to mate with my other male cockatiel? Should i be worried?

i have two male cockatiels (one grey, one white) and yesterday when they were outside their cage, the white one tried to get on top of the grey one and then it ended with a small fight… I am wondering if its normal or not and if it is that they are sexually frustrated, what can i do to alleviate it?
Lately my grey cockatiel has been quite “feminine” and he’s been roosting alot, you know, like getting himself on a corner (or in a box)and lifting his tail as though he were nesting or something (i’ve had female cocaktiels before and they did the same thing when they were about to lay eggs)…
I am almost 100% sure they are both males… Could it be that the grey one is becoming the “wifey” of the couple? Is that possible in a samesex bird coupling? appreciate the help, info and tips.!
Both of my cockatiels have very dinstingued orange-ey patches on their cheeks (like a male one should be) and it does sound as though it could be a stress sign from the white bird… He is a relatively quiet bird (compared with the grey-oh yes!) and regularly gets beaked taway from the grey one whenever they fight (been lots of that lately)…
But they do get along ok most of the time, they always stick together, learning the bad habits from the other…
i wouldn’t mind getting a female just so that it would cool their “urges” but hubby would most definitely kick me out of the house with the birds, heheeh!!

why wont my cockatiels return to their nest box?

my breeding cockatiels just laid 3 eggs last week and there was poo all over the top of the nest box. the poo was sticking to the birds feet and they would go sit on the eggs. a friend of mine told me that wasnt healthy for the eggs. so, i cleaned the top of the nest box with water and now they wont go back into it. what should i do?

i want the birds to stop nesting on top of my fire alarms and dryer vents, however it must look good?

I do maintenance at an apartment complex and this has become a project, I tried building boxes uses finish trim pieces and 2 x 4′s, but these mud swallows are so persistent and protected so it has to be humane and like I said most importanly still look good.

does mother robins ever abondon their nests?

latly we have a nest right outside our house in our backyard sitting on top of our power box. I didnt know if there would be any eggs but i went outside and looked inside the nest and saw ONE true turqouise colored egg. i havnt seen the mother around and im thinking she abondoned it. Dont mother birds always have to be on top of their egg? I rarely see her mostly never. you think she would abandon it but why?

What do mamma birds do right after thier eggs hatch? Do they still sit on top of thier babies for a while?

I have a White Dove that has made a nest in my planter box out on the patio. She layed eggs and now they’ve hatched and she continues to sit on them. This is the 3rd day. I feed her bird seed and give her water and she lets the daddy come and sit with her from time to time…crazy huh?!
