I’ve read that styles of nesting boxes differ according to type of bird. Can anyone provide a link to a website that offers specific instructions in building one? I would like to place several pieces in my garden.

I also have 3 other parakeets. One is the dad and the other two, which one is a female and the other a male. The momma bird has a nesting box that the eggs are in that is attached to the outside of the cage. When the babies hatch is there anything special I need to do for them and also should I take out the other two birds? I have not found a website that answers any of these questions.

I spoke with a pigeon owner online a couple weeks ago on a pigeon website. One of the questions I asked regarded hand feeding. I read pigeon chicks need to be fed evert 2 hours or more with a 6 hour fasting period. The owner told me that meant feeding the bird until midnight and then starting the whole process again at 6:00 am the next day. Is this true or would I have to feed the chick through out the night?
I already get up a couple times during the night so I can check on the chick if I need to. I also plan to get the chick from a friend who owns 2 pigeons, I’ve also done a year and half of research on hand raising. You’ve all probably seen question s liek this before since I’ve been asking them though otu the week(see my profile).
(No jokes allowed, please)
