Caring for wild baby birds… Help!?

I believe that they are sparrows (there are three of them) that were blown out of their nest during a storm last night. They have gotten their “big feathers” but are still naked under the wings and have bits of down poking up. I have them together in a cage in shredded white paper. The pet store said to use wild bird formula, but until I get some of that, to use powdered Cheerios cereal mixed with enough tepid water to make a gruel and feed them with an eye dropper. They seem to be taking to this ok, but I’m concerned that I’m not giving them enough or maybe even too much. Any ideas until I can get the formula?

help….my tiel is sick!!?

this morning, when i went to go feed my cockatiels, one of them was sqautted in the bottom of the cage with his feathers fluffed, his wings spread out, and his eyes squinted shut. i stayed home from school to take care of him. i moved him to a box with towels and heating pads in it, but he doesnt seem to be feeling any better. he’ll drink water from a syringe, but he wont eat anything, not even millet or baby bird formula. i cant get him to the vet for at least a day or two. he seems to just be getting worse though. what else can i do for him?? PLEASE HELP!!
by the way…its a male bird.

need help with a quaker parrot?

I’m watching my friends Quacker for the summer. She’s a very friendly bird around Mike, and was fine around me when he was near. But now that she has been relocated to my place she’s becoming impossible. I can’t reach into her cage to change her food or water. When I do, she charges at my fingers. I’ve already been bittin a couple of times. she has clamp coop cups so I have to reach in her cage to feed her. She’s smart and figures out how to undo her toys from the cage, so they just fall to floor. When I try to pick them up and replace them, once again my hands are her target. I’ve tried letting her out ontop of her cage to distract her so I can get her food/water/toys. I’ve had little success. She starts flying around the room, running into stuff (he doesn’t clip her wings) Then I have trouble getting her back into her cage, or she sees what I’m doing and comes back in. My friend is doing an internship in a remote area with no service so contact is not possible. any suggestions?

A wise man once said, take an apple and feed a monkey?

A wise man once said, take an apple and feed a monkey, the monkey will have wings, take an orange and feed a bird, and the bird will have the ability to speak, what happens if u take a peach and u feed it to the person you love the most?

Black capped chickdee!?

i was walking in the forest behind my house about a week ago, and thats when i saw a bird stuck to some really sticky stuff. ( i have no idea what it was) it smelled bad and stuff so i took the bird home. The stickey stuff was all over the bird so i cut it’s wings( not off just trimmed them like you do with other birds so they can’t fly) because i couldn’t get the stuff of. Well i did that cleaned his feet gently and what not. He is doing fine in my spare cage. but i was reading on the internet that you can teach the these bird to hand feed from you is this true? And if so how do you do it? any info would be help full, and just for you to know i can’t relise him he can’t fly.
well it’s kinda too late now, this morning i woke up he’s dead so…… thx any way i guess.

We found a sparrow fledgling in a dangerous spot and brought him home…?

My brother found a baby bird at his work that was hopping around in the parking lot. He could not fly so my brother took him home in a box since he was afraid he would get hit by a car. We just got the extra cage we have setup with a water hanging on he side, some seeds in a container and sprinkled on the ground, a couple branches, a swinging perch and some newspaper. He is sitting in the corner at the moment, but he is very active. He was jumping against the cage and trying to fly but kept falling. He has all his feathers, so hes not a baby baby, but he is very tiny. We have the cage next to our bird to try and maybe calm him down and i put a towel covering one side so he feels secure. What should we do? My mom thinks we can release him in a few days since she thinks hes a fledgling and is just learning to fly. His wings down look damaged or broken or anything, so i dont think hes injured. He must have just fallen out of the nest at the wrong time.
Please tell me what we can do. Do you think he is old enough for seeds? He looks like a fledgling so I think so but not sure. And what else can we do to help him?
P.S. We will release him but my mom wants to wait till he can fully fly so he wont die. And we do not want to take him back where he was found since we are afraid he will get run over by a car or walk in the road.
